safeXchange stands for reliable messaging security. Due to the encryption method used, messages sent and received cannot be read by unauthorized third parties. safeXchange guarantees that your messages are only read where they are to be read.

How does safeXchange work?
When using this method, the key must be exchanged once. Before sending, the message is encrypted with the recipient’s public key embedded in the address list. Encryption takes place before sending in the app. Only your contact person who owns the corresponding private key can decrypt and read it with safeXchange.

How can I send messages securely?
For sending an encrypted message you have to know the public key of the recipient. The contact person must tell you his public key once, which is then embedded in the address list. Write your message text as usual. safeXchange takes care of encryption. Your text is encrypted before sending, using the key embedded. Only the determined recepient who owns the private key can decrypt the message.

How can I decrypt messages received?
The sender of the encrypted message has encrypted the text with your public key. Copy the encrypted message to safeXchange – click „Decrypt“ and you can read your message.
